From the PA:
Thanks to the many coffee drinkers who supported the Welcome Back Coffee Morning last week - a great turn out! It shows that you all clearly have standards when it comes to coffee! Thank you also to those on the PA who baked and poured like pros!
Reminder that the PA AGM will take place next Tuesday, 22nd Sept in the School at 8pm. If you are keen to help out at any of the PA events this year, please do come along.
Finally, the PA are delighted to support the RMDS Refugee Appeal which has been thoughtfully suggested by one of the parents, Lisa Godson. Lisa has been in touch with the www.humanappeal.org.uk who are currently co-ordinating an Emergency Appeal to support the Refugee Crisis. They are co-ordinating the shipment of all donated goods overseas on 30th September. Lisa has made contact to see what is most needed, and the Charity have requested Hygiene Packs. We are asking RMDS to rally together to gather up as many Hygiene Packs as possible so that we can donate in time for the shipment. Hygiene packs should be presented in clear zip-lock plastic bags, and can contain: Tooth Brush, Tooth Paste, Soap, Shampoo, and other such day to day hygiene products. More practical items such as plasters, sanitizing gels, hygiene wipes are also greatly appreciated. These are all items that our children will be able to relate to, and hopefully they will feel involved in the appeal. All donated Hygiene Packs will be collected by the PA at the school gates on the morning of Friday 25th September. Tommy Kenny has also very generously offered his time and van to assist with the transfer of donations.
Thank you in advance!
