SCHOOL NEWS in Brief…..
8th February 2018
From the Principal’s desk:
School closes tomorrow at the usual time for midterm break and reopens on Monday, 19th February.
There will be a big emphasis on punctuality in the new half term! Remember, school starts at 8.30 a.m! Children who are in class after 8.40 a.m. will be marked late.
A reminder that the school will be closed on 27th February for a training day for all staff on the new Primary Language Curriculum.
Please check for lost property at the gate in the morning. All items left at the weekend will be donated to charity.
Wishing you all an enjoyable, restful midterm break!

Enjoy the midterm!
The PA
From the Green School Committee:
As part of the Green Schools initiative for the Travel Flag we have decided to take part in the big travel challenge! This challenge asks us to look at one specific mode of transport so the Green Committee have chosen walking! After careful analysis of the results of our last Green Travel survey the committee recognised that walking to school decreases during the colder months of the year and so the committee was keen to try and increase these numbers! As a result we will be holding a "woolly hat" walk this Friday, tomorrow!!! The idea is to wear a warm, woolly hat while walking to school! The R5 & R6 Green School representatives will be recording the results both at the gate tomorrow morning and at the door for children in choir practice!
We hope you can all join us in our
Woolly Hat Walk to school!!!
