Senior Infants have been very busy this term! We have been working very hard, with
help from Therese, Emma, Paul and Sara.
In Aistear, we have explored autumn, the restaurant, the school, the farm, the
weather station, the North and South Pole, and Santa’s Workshop! We played lots of
games in role-play and built lots of interesting creations in junk art, construction and
play-dough.
Every Wednesday we practice our GAA skills with Simon - we are getting better all
the time!
For Hallowe’en we dressed up in wonderful costumes and went on a parade through
Ranelagh. We hope we didn’t scare anyone!
We have loved spending time with our buddies in Rang 5! Together we paid a visit to
Rathmines Library and read some books. We also went to Linear Park and played
games in the yard. We even gave each other a sneak-peak at our winter
performance!
Preparing our winter performance for our families was lots of fun! As the winter days
are short, and the nights are long and dark, we celebrated light! We learned a poem
called ‘The Park’ by James S. Tippett, and sang two songs: ‘Sky Full of Stars’ and
‘Feliz Navidad.’ We hope everyone enjoyed watching us as much as we enjoyed
performing!
Nollaig shona from everyone in Senior Infants!
